The Field Guide
A 1.25-acre volunteer-run park on the historic Vint Hill Farms Station grounds, and a very different experience from a suburban gravel lot — grass and mulch underfoot, partly wooded, with agility equipment and benches. Run by the Piedmont Dogs nonprofit, fully fenced with a separate small-dog area, a water source, and its own parking right beside the gate. Open dawn to dusk with no lights, so plan around sunset in winter.
