Our Commitment
DMV Paws & Parks wants every dog owner to be able to use our site, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What We Do
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Text descriptions for meaningful images and labels for buttons and form fields.
- Color contrast checked in both light and dark modes.
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Every park on the map is also available as a text list with full details.
- Automated accessibility checks on our main pages.
Known Limitations
- The interactive map is provided by Google and may not be fully accessible; use the park list instead.
- Photos uploaded by the community may not have detailed descriptions.
