The Field Guide
Clarendon's central off-leash park, and the most urban dog park in Arlington. The signature feature is a canine wading pool fed by a rock waterfall that runs on harvested rainwater, so dogs cool off without a creek. Fully fenced with stone dust and paver surfaces, lights until 9 p.m., and a steady after-work crowd from the surrounding apartment towers. One combined dog area rather than a separate small-dog side, street parking or a nearby garage, and closed for maintenance Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.
