Their dumpsters are always dirty and with rats. There is no supervision and the homeless invade the children's water areas to bathe and wash their clothes.

Nice little park just off Wisconsin with plenty of shade and other amenities like water fountains, benches, shade, and bag dispensers. Gave 4 instead of 5 since I’m personally not a huge fan of the wood chip base.

I liked it, my phone joyed it. It's covered with wood chips which is much more preferable to the gravel that some dog parks have adopted. It's on same area as kids playground for those who have children also. There is enough shade during the day for the owner to sit and plenty of sitting benches

Still a dismal facility despite an alleged $5M renovation in 2012. Building is cira 1902. Relatively new elevator breaks down on a regular basis. Since Covid, the Center's hours are still extremely limited, and there don't seem to be any plans to expand hours back to pre-Covid opening times. The plumbing constantly breaks down too. The Center staff tries to make the best of a bad situation, and they are hampered by an unsupportive headquarters. Overall, it's a tragically under-utilized building that's not being used to its full potential.

Dog park is great, most dog are well behaved. At least much better than the DC employees inside the building.
