The Field Guide
A fenced off-leash area inside one of Alexandria's nicest neighborhood parks, right beside Lake Cook. Grass and wood chip footing, paved loop trail around the pond for a warm-up walk, and plenty of parking at the ball fields. The lakeside setting keeps it breezy in summer, and the surrounding trail makes it a genuine two-for-one outing.
